After starting the season with five consecutive home games the Toronto Maple Leafs schedule has got a little more difficult. The Leafs have played 7 of their last 8 games on the road. They had a four game road trip before returning home for one game and then headed right back out onto the road for a three game road trip. This means that the Leafs had to travel to A different city after each of its last 9 games. This has not affected the Leafs much yet but it is only a matter of time before it catches up with them. In their last game the Leafs came away with a 4-1 win over CLB on a 38 save performance from Scrivens making his first start. Scrivens will be back in goal tonight for the Leafs. The Bruins are coming off a 5-3 win over a red hot Senators team (at the time) on Tuesday. With three days off in between games we should see a fresh Boston team for tonight's game. Currently this game is a coin flip at Bodog Sportsbook with both teams paying 1.91. Surprise, surprise Proline has the Leafs as a huge favorite paying just 1.50 because they know everyone in Ontario will be betting on the Leafs and they take advantage of that knowledge.

This is not a good spot for the Leafs tonight. I am going to go with the well rested Bruins team with veteran Tim Thomas in goal (not confirmed yet but Thomas should start) as opposed to the road weary Leafs with a young goaltender making just his second start. This game is a pick 'em and I'm picking the Bruins. I'll take the Bruins to win for 1.91 at Bodog Sportsbook.
