The Vancouver fans were so disgusted with Luongo's play they were mock cheering him for stopping a dump in attempt by the Rangers. Luongo will get a chance to redeem himself tonight as he is confirmed to start in goal for the Canucks. As for the Predators they are coming off a 3-1 loss in Edmonton two nights ago and have now dropped three in a row after opening the season with two wins. Will Luongo bounce back with a strong effort tonight?

Sure Luongo has not been playing great to start the season but it has only been a few games and it is a long season. Luongo has been around a long time and the booing by the fans shouldn't distract him but should be more of a wake up call for him. Tonight's opponent (The Predators) may be just what the doctor ordered for Luongo. The Preds have dropped three straight games and have managed to score just 5 goals over those three games.
