NFL Week #7 Preview

 

 

Introduction:

Last week we had 6 teams coming off a bye week for the first time this season. How did these 6 teams do against the spread? Not very good. Both Baltimore and Dallas covered the spread but Miami, St. Louis, Washington, and Cleveland (depending on the spread you bet them at) all failed to cover the spread. This week Arizona, Denver, Kansas City, San Diego, Seattle, and Tennessee are all coming off a bye week. Will they fair any better than last weeks rested teams?

We have some new QB's getting the start this week. In Minnesota McNabb takes a seat and Christian Ponder will get the start. Ponder will get to face the Packers. Good luck to him. The Packers are a -10 road favorite at Bodog in this game. The Raiders traded for Carson Palmer but Palmer will not be getting the start. Kyle Boller will be behind center for Oakland for the start vs. the Chiefs. The Raiders are a -4 home favorite at Bodog in this game. After a 4 interception performance last week Rex Grossman finds himself watching from the sidelines. John Beck will assume the QB duties this week for the Redskins. The Redskins are a +3 underdog at Bodog in Carolina this week.

Don't forget that the Bears vs. Bucs game is being played from London England. Bucs RB LaGarette Blount has been ruled out for this game. Currently the Bears are a -1 favorite in this game at Bodog. Browns RB Peyton Hillis is banged up and missed practice again on Friday. He is listed as questionable for week #7. Rams QB Sam Bradford is not 100%. He practiced behind closed doors Friday. It is still unclear if Bradford will play (questionable). And Detroit Lions RB Jahvid Best will not play this week vs. the Falcons. The Lions are a -3.5 home favorite at Bodog in this contest.
